On the coast of the city of Niterói (Rio de Janeiro), the neighborhood of Piratininga is known for its beach and summer houses, many of them empty during the rest of the year. the neighborhood comes suffering an atypical wave of robberies – thefts of clothes, jewelry, perfumes, beauty, worthless object. In this context, Rebeca, a 12-year-old girl, and her mother, Marta, move into the old family home, which has been closed for years. Marta works all day all. While her mother is away, Rebeca takes care of the house. The girl is forbidden to go out. She spends the day alone, observing the daily life of the street where she lives over the wall. In that remote neighborhood, Rebeca doesn’t have any friends.
