From the outskirts of Salvador and raised by his mother alone, Júnior at the age of 20, discovers he is going to be a father and decides he has to look for his own dad. Mainha, an overprotective mom, is forced to reveal the identity of Júnior’s father who lives in Recôncavo da Bahia at a city called Cachoeira. An amusing trip begins where Mainha and Júnior search for his father on an adventure full of confusion that will serve to bring mother and son closer together in the end. After all Mainha is irreplaceable for Júnior, and there is nothing or no one in the world capable of taking her place.
