The main characters of this documentary are absent. Dead. In an effort to bring their stories to life, the director challenges three actresses to experience, on stage, the emotions of women who intimately live the risk of death. One step at a time, they develop an artistic process to reveal a reality that conventional approaches to the theme do not reach, until they face the final performance, the final act. Meanwhile, the film follows a group of victims of domestic violence and survivors of femicide attempts. In a poor and risky neighborhood, they work to get other women together and fight for protection and freedom. In both cases, society reveals itself as a judge who blames the victims and causes them to keep silent. This is a film about listening to them. About yelling along with them. Their stories point in the same direction: being murdered is the last violence they suffer, not the first. In almost all cases, they face domestic aggression and humiliation repeatedly until the tragic consequence. So, which role do you play in this movie: victim, perpetrator or witness?
